Sources of emissions data include but are not limited to: (1) companies’ official websites, annual reports, CSR, ESG, and other sustainability reports; and (2) companies’ publicly disclosed responses to the CDP Climate Change Questionnaire. IPE gives priority to information disclosed in companies’ regular sustainability reports.
Progress towards Targets
Progress towards emission reduction targets is calculated based on the company’s covered emissions in the base year and the most recent reporting year. The progress is calculated as: (emissions in the most recent year - emissions in the base year) ÷ emissions in the base year, expressed as a percentage.
3) Scope 3 emission categories are presented in accordance with the GHG Protocol: Corporate Accounting and Reporting Standard. If a company has not reported its data following this classification, or has only disclosed percentage figures, the data are not displayed on this page.
