Dynamic assessment of corporate climate actions across the value chain to accelerate the implementation of emission reduction projects and carbon data disclosure

"The CGTI Index evaluates cities’ monitoring, supervision, and information disclosure performance across four key dimensions: environment, climate, ecology, and transition development. The CGTI builds on a series of indices covering city green synergy, pollution source monitoring, air quality, water quality, dual-carbon goals, green supply chains, and corporate climate action. It incorporates data from government agencies, enterprises, research institutions, and the Blue Map Database, aiming to identify best practices, facilitate peer learning among cities, and strengthen ecological and climate governance capacity on a global scale."

Based on the theory of green, low-carbon and recycling development and the key factors affecting carbon emissions, the Chinese Provincial Carbon Peak & Carbon Neutrality Index（PCNI） takes into account the carbon emission fields of energy, industry, transportation and living, and comprehensively evaluates the cities’ response to the national "dual carbon" strategy from three dimensions: Climate Ambition, Low-carbon Status, and Emissions Trend.
