October 31, 2024 - The Institute of Public and Environmental Affairs (IPE) published the 7th annual Corporate Climate Action CATI evaluation report in Beijing, highlighting that Chinese and foreign companies are stepping up climate action. Leading companies have required suppliers to conduct carbon management and data disclosure at facility-level, empower them to extend climate governance to upstream supply chain, and motivated them to reduce carbon emissions.

IPE and PECC released the first year’s Climate Action CATI evaluation results of the photovoltaic (PV) listed company. The report indicates that many PV listed companies are actively responding to the requirements of the dual-carbon policy, implementing energy-saving and emission reduction projects, and carrying out green transformation along the industrial chain. Report also suggests that the majority of PV listed companies need to benchmark themselves against industrial leaders to improve corporate and supply chain climate governance. We thus call for multi-stakeholders to jointly advance the zero carbon supply chains in the PV industry.
