Based on research into the mechanisms of air pollution and its control, the Blue Sky Roadmap was proposed in 2012 to mobilize public participation in pollution control. Its core steps include: monitoring and releasing pollution data, issuing health advisories and advocating for emergency emission reductions, identifying and disclosing emission sources, and implementing phased emission reductions through multi-stakeholder participation. Today's new blueprint centers on synergistic pollution reduction and carbon emission reduction. It aims to achieve high-quality carbon peaking before 2030 while advancing the Healthy China and Beautiful China initiatives. Simultaneously, it contributes Chinese wisdom and strength to building a clean and beautiful world.
