    Anchor of Stability: China's Role in Global Governance amid a Shifting World

    On the 10th anniversary of the Paris Agreement, the Chinese Research Academy of Environmental Sciences (CRAES) and the Institute of Public and Environmental Affairs (IPE) jointly released the report "Anchor of Stability: China's Role in Global Governance amid a Shifting World" at the COP30 United Nations Climate Change Conference. The report notes that at a critical juncture when climate change is intensifying and global climate governance is facing severe challenges, China has firmly implemented its "dual carbon" goals, pragmatically advanced the green transformation of its economy and society, and has become the essential "anchor" and key "driving force" in maintaining the stability of the global climate governance system.
