Luxshare Precision adheres to an environmentally friendly philosophy and continuously optimizes its green manufacturing system. We have implemented Zero Waste to Landfill initiative, strictly following the UL 2799 standard to promote waste reduction, recycling, reuse, and other effective conversion methods. We collaborate with certified service providers to ensure proper waste transfer and disposal. As of 2024, a total of 14 subsidiaries has obtained UL 2799 certification. Compared to the previous year, the amount of waste recycled and reused increased by 28,997 tons, and the average waste conversion rate rose from 86.06% to 88.18%. This marks a solid step forward toward achieving the goal of 90% by 2025.

Meanwhile, the Company is advancing sustainable water management practices. Utilizing the Aqueduct Water Risk Atlas developed by the World Resources Institute, Luxshare Precision conducts water risk assessments across its operational sites to thoroughly analyze and forecast challenges related to water quality and water infrastructure conditions. Based on the identified risk levels, tailored response strategies are formulated. In alignment with the requirements of the International Standard for Water Management issued by the Alliance for Water Stewardship (AWS), the Company implements the principles of sustainable water management. As of 2024, 6 subsidiaries have obtained AWS certification. The AWS standard encompasses five key dimensions: sustainable water balance, good water quality, sound water governance, healthy important water-related areas, and safe water access and sanitation facilities.

Meanwhile, we actively collaborate with third-party organizations to enhance supply chain oversight. Luxshare Precision has partnered with the Institute of Public & Environmental Affairs (IPE) for years and jointly launched the “Towards Zero Carbon Supply Chain Initiative”, committed to promoting green and low-carbon development concepts among suppliers and working together to reduce pollution and carbon emissions. Through IPE’s Blue Supply Chain platform, we dynamically monitor the environmental performance of our supply chain. Dedicated personnel guide suppliers in completing required corrective actions within deadlines and removing environmental violation records. Furthermore, by utilizing the Pollutant Release and Transfer Registration (PRTR) and carbon data modules developed by IPE, we organize suppliers to disclose relevant environmental information. This strengthens information transmission mechanisms, improves transparency and traceability within the supply chain, and helps suppliers establish standardized and sustainable management practices. Through systematic management and transparent disclosure mechanisms, we collectively build a green supply chain and fulfill our commitment to reducing pollution and carbon emissions across the entire value chain. In 2024, the Company facilitated 239 suppliers in disclosing PRTR data and assisted 110 suppliers in resolving environmental violation records.

Note:

UL 2799 is the first international standard dedicated to advancing "Zero Waste to Landfill" initiatives. It promotes the diversion of waste from landfills through methods such as sorting, recycling, and energy recovery, ultimately achieving the goal of zero waste disposal in landfills. The certification offers three levels—Silver, Gold, and Platinum—helping organizations enhance environmental compliance, reduce costs, and improve operational efficiency.

AWS is a systematic framework for action developed by the Alliance for Water Stewardship (AWS) to manage water risks and improve water stewardship performance. It is dedicated to reducing water consumption, enhancing water use efficiency, and minimizing the environmental impact of pollutant discharges through a structured management approach. The standard supports the practical application of water conservation and pollution reduction measures and technologies at both the site and watershed levels.
