This report examines the environmental performance of 26 listed companies related to water treatment. The research team analyzed the environmental performance of these companies, noting that several faced penalties from environmental authorities due to issues such as exceeding water pollutant discharge standards, evading regulation, or improper operation of pollution control facilities. The causes behind these issues include both objective factors, such as excessive upstream inflows in their service areas, and internal management shortcomings within the listed companies themselves.
